Zion Williamson is now the Youngest Player to Score 20 Pts in 7 Straight Games

Williamson scores 20 plus points in 7 straight games

Zion Williamson in his rookie season may have participated in only 11 games but the promising youngster has already entered the history books of the American Basketball. On Friday night, Williamson, 19 became the youngest player in the history of National Basketball Association to post over 20 points in seven straight games, an astonishing league stat considering his age.

The previous record was held by Melo (Carmelo Anthony) in 2004, also 19 – so the rookie is in a good company. Living up to the hype and excitement around him, the #1 overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft had garnered much praise and comparisons have been drawn between him and Lebron James during their rookie period.

The stats look even amazing considering the fact that Williamson is currently averaging 27 minutes per game; the professional NBA game plays 4 quarters of 12 minute each or 48 minutes.
